About us

Investment Castings Queensland Pty Ltd is 100% Australian owned and operated company, employing around 45 staff. We operate from a modern 4000 square meter manufacturing plant, located in the southern suburbs of Brisbane, Australia.
The company was founded in 1964 by Heinz and Olga Walter, trading as H&O Walter Pty Ltd. Its initial core business was the manufacture of pattern equipment for the local foundry industry. During the early 1980’s Heinz made the decision to diversify into the manufacturing of castings, offering customers both sand and investment cast processes. Reflecting this change to our core business, in 1984 H&O Walter Pty Ltd, became Investment Castings Queensland Pty Ltd.
Under Heinz’s leadership and direction Investment Castings Queensland has now developed into a highly respected and modern foundry, capable of meeting the most demanding specifications from a wide ranging customer base.
